- Faculty: Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) - Seattle Pacific University. Courses
taught includes “Adlerian Therapy” one of the only MFT programs offering such a
class.
- Founder and Core Faculty: The Idaho Society of Individual Psychology’s Certificate
Program in Adlerian Psychology.
"Holistic Metaphor Therapy" - Based on the work of the late Richard Royal Kopp, one
of my all-time favorite humans. Rich was an inspiration in how he furthered the creative
practice of Adlerian Therapy. I was honored to collaborate with Dr. Kopp as he was
developing this model and co-presented with him on this and related topics.
In this presentation I will help participants understand the theoretical underpinnings and
learn the practical steps involved in, working with clients to identify, process, and
transform metaphorical images that are related to a central problem or issue. The model
so often leads to a shift in the client’s meaning, emotions, and behavioral possibilities.
