Wadsworth, MS, NCC, LCMHC (Doctoral Candidate, Capella University) With Dr. Daniel Williamson & Dr. Jennifer Nivin Williamson Program Summary Therapist self-disclosure (TSD) is utilized as a therapeutic intervention by more than 90% of therapists. Lastly, case scenarios will be presented to simulate practical applications of TSD to help solidify the concepts learned in the presentation. Learning Objectives 1. Review and become familiar with the basic components of TSD, including (a) the types of TSD, (b) the purpose of TSD, (c) the content of TSD, (d) mitigating unavoidable TSD, (e) the ethics of TSD, and (f) evaluating outcomes of TSD 2.
