Alyson Schafer is a third generation Adlerian. She has a MA in counselling psychology from Adler University and sees families in her private practice in Toronto Canada. In addition to clinical work, she is also an author with three best-selling parenting books that have been translated into multiple languages. She is an international speaker. Alyson hosts a podcast, “Parenting The Adlerian Way” which provides answers to parenting questions that parents email in, as well as interviewing other prominent Adlerians, authors and experts. She also hosts her own TV show called “The Parenting Show” and is a regular expert on several Canadian day time TV shows and news channels. Alyson has helped establish two Adlerian nursery schools in Toronto, and offers teacher training to help educators understand the classroom application of Adlerian Psychology.
